德莱斯男爵与自行车鼻祖“奔跑机”

德国卡尔·冯·德莱斯男爵于1817年发明了一种新的交通工具“奔跑机”,它是世界上最早可控制方向的自行车,被称为“自行车的鼻祖”。冯·德莱斯独创性的机械设计和技术改造,使该机器可以自动行走,能够有效的替代骑马或者乘坐马车出行,且速度较快,完全可以媲美马车。本文基于国内外文献,详细讨论了德莱斯式奔跑机的研制经过、机械结构、使用方法及社会影响,阐明了其历史意义。

Abstract:
In 1817, German Baron Karl von Drais invented a new form of transportation called the “Draisine”, which is considered the world's earliest bicycle with controllable direction, also known as the “originator of bicycle”. Baron von Drais's ingenious mechanical design and technological modification enable the machine to move autonomously, effectively replace horseback riding or carriage travel. Moreover, the Draisine was fast enough to rival carriages. Based on domestic and international literature, this paper discusses in detail the development process, mechanical structure, application method and social influence of the Draisine, and clarifies its historical significance.
