博物馆观众研究的土壤——以二战后的英国为例

摘要:
从20世纪80年代的财政责任到如今的社会责任,观众研究为英国博物馆证明自身价值、获得经费支持提供了重要依据。英国政府通过政策引导与经济杠杆,客观上推动了博物馆观众研究的发展和博物馆对“人”的关注。英国经验说明,只有当政策引导、经济杠杆、行业规范与学术研究形成合力时,博物馆观众研究才能真正得到发展、发挥效力。

Abstract:
From fiscal responsibility in the 1980s until social responsibility nowadays, audience research has provided concrete evidence for the British museums to prove their value and gain financial supports. Through policy orientation and economic lever, the UK government has promoted the development of museum audience research, as well as museums' growing attention on people. The British experience has demonstrated that the combination of policy orientation, economic lever, professional guidance and academic research is necessary for the real development and functioning of museum audience research.
