Abstract: |
Although the exhibition has become an important means of utilizing literature and providing innovative services by Libraries, Archives, Local Chronicles Museums and other Literature Collection Institutions, such exhibitions are more likely to use direct displaying for literature, or to nest literature therein general history exhibition of museums. By doing so, the audience's reading ability and the functional advantages of the exhibition are ignored and the true value of the literature as “material evidence” has not been developed. The root cause is that, during the process of functional transformation, the Literature Collection Institutions have not yet completed the turn from “literature center” to “audience center”. And researches on exhibition theories are unbalanced, which may become development bottleneck to those institutions. Since museum curators have encountered similar problems and carried out in-depth researched from multiple perspectives, they proposed relatively mature theories and methods. Accordingly, from the perspective of museology and on the basis of re-recognizing the value of literature and the function of exhibition, we could try to construct the interpretation model for literature exhibitions, design its practical mode and propose the achieving methods with phased advancement. |
