| 在清华大学科学博物馆(筹)与合肥子木园博物馆合办的“神机妙算——计算器具历史展”中,有一组8台计算机实物尤其引人注目,它们是个人计算机早期的代表机型,也是对计算机发展史的实物记录。这8台老计算机出现于微软公司创始人比尔·盖茨和保罗·艾伦的两张经典合影之中,共同折射出个人计算机与微软操作系统走向大众的、改变世界的历史意义。挖掘经典照片和老计算机的背景,既能了解两位优秀企业家开创计算机技术实业的历程,又能知晓当初计算机在产品设计、功能实现等方面所处的历史阶段。 |

| In the Exhibition themed the History of Computing Instruments jointly organized by the Tsinghua University Science Museum (in development) and the Hefei Zimuyuan Museum, there are 8 computers particularly attractive to visitors. They are the representative models of Personal Computers (PC) in the early days, and also the physical record of the history of computer development. These 8 computers appeared in two classic group photos of Microsoft founders, Bill Gates and Paul Allen, which together reflect the historical significance of PCs and Microsoft operating systems to the world progress. Researching the background of the classic photos and classic computers can not only help us understand the course of the two outstanding entrepreneurs to start their business, but also know the historical stage of computers in many aspects like the product design and the function realization. |
