基于展品资源的科学与工程实践——馆校结合STEM活动设计思路分析

摘要:
针对我国馆校结合STEM教育项目中以“实践”取代“探究”的错误认识与“伪探究”问题,本文尝试从科学与工程实践和探究式学习、馆校结合STEM教育、科技馆资源之间的联系出发,对馆校结合STEM教育进行再认识,提出基于科学与工程实践的馆校结合STEM教育项目的基本特征为“聚焦《课标》重点科学概念,以科技馆实物展品为教学资源,还原科学家或工程师的工作环境,促使学生浸入故事情境,在‘问题’‘兴趣’双重动力的驱动下,开展科学研究或工程设计,从而获得‘直接经验’的跨学科探究式学习”,并在此基础上提出了馆校结合STEM教育项目的设计原则。

Abstract:
Aiming at the misunderstanding of replacing inquiry by practice and the pseudo-inquiry problem from STEM activities in the museum-school collaboration programs in China, and starting with the relationship among science and engineering practice, inquiry learning, STEM education in the museum-school collaboration and science and technology museum resources, this paper presented a new understanding of STEM education in the museum-school collaboration. It also proposed that the basic characteristics of STEM education in the museum-school collaboration which based on science and engineering practice, are “focusing on the key scientific concepts of ‘curriculum’standards, using the exhibits at science and technology museums as teaching resources, restoring the working environment of scientists or engineers, encouraging students to immerse themselves in the story, carrying out scientific research or engineering design driven by the dual motivation of ‘question’ and ‘interest’, so as to obtain ‘direct experience’ interdisciplinary inquiry learning”. On this basis, this paper offered the design principles on STEM education in the museum-school collaboration.
