| To fully present their scientific principles, technological development process, and social background to the audience, scientific and technological relics need to undergo a series of information translations. This paper takes the exhibition Wonderful Instruments from Overseas:the Western Technological World in the Eyes of Late Qing Intellectuals as an example to explore how to select and expand the information of the exhibits through context construction and diversified and open interpretation strategies, thereby conveying scientific and technological knowledge and scientific culture to the audience more effectively and vividly. |
