| Abstract: |
| This paper introduces front-end evaluation with its definition, purpose and methods. It traces the application of front-end evaluation in the museum field, and explores the potential risks of “audience limited front-end evaluation”. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes that curators should take an active role in front-end evaluation to focus and coordinate multiple stakeholders to better serve exhibition planning. |
