| Affective experience in virtual museums has received little attention in museum studies. This paper examines the relationship between virtual museums' experiences and affective affordances from the perspective of Phenomenology. Based on a case study of the online resource Objects and Stories from the Science Museum in London, this paper reveals two ways of creating affective affordances:the engagement of sensory modalities and perspective-taking in the narrative. |
