探索馆作为全世界最有影响力的科技馆之一,承载着科技馆自成立以来便具有的教育功能,以实现“动手做”(hands-on)和“互动式(interactive)科学”的特征为目标,吸引观众了解科学和技术。科技馆的主体是展览和教育活动,在探索馆的前期展览策划中,科研人员的参与、馆校联络、策展与营销部门的沟通、研究与评估部门的调研和策展人对展览的阐释等内容,构成了展教结合的“输入环节”;探索馆展览本身以其互动性、同等化、去权威性、强调观众的主观感受和探究型学习为特征,将科学知识“输出”给观众;从而在探索馆的输入和输出整个过程中,实现了展教结合的目的。 |

Abstract: |
As one of the most influential science museums in the world, the Exploratorium has undertaken its educational function since its inception. Following its targets of ‘hands-on’ and ‘interactive science’, the Exploratorium attracts visitors to learn science and technology. The main body of the Exploratorium includes exhibitions and educational activities. In the process of exhibition planning, the ‘input part’ of its exploration-education mechanism includes several aspects, which are the participation of researchers, the contact with universities, the communication between design and market departments and the research of Visitor Research & Evaluation department as well. Meanwhile, the ‘output part’ relies on exhibitions' five main characters, they are interaction, property equalizing, authority decentralizing, perception and inquiry. These two components construct and support the whole mechanism, which can realize the purpose of exploration-education in science museums. |
