| Viktor Ambartsumian is one of the greatest scientists of the 20th century. He is famous mostly as an astrophysicist, but he was distinguished also as a mathematician and physicist. Ambartsumian was the one who changed the human understanding of the Universe. The House-Museum of Viktor Ambartsumian in Byurakan represents the life and scientific activity of Viktor Ambartsumian. The Museum introduces the visitors the evolution of human understanding of the Universe from antique times up to the end of, and V. Ambartsumian's biography serves as an example how a man can influence the development of science. |
