| The academic salon series of the China Science and Technology Museum aims to activate theacademic atmosphere, cultivate the academic ecology, enhance research capabilities, and stimulateinnovation vitality. The second academic salon, held on November 14, 2025, centered on "FutureDevelopment Trends and Governance Prospects of Natural Science Museums". Through a combination ofonline meeting and on-site session, experts and scholars from China and abroad were invited to shareadvanced practical experiences of science museums in countries such as the UK, Germany, andNorway. The discussions covered important topics including interactive experiences in mathematicsmuseums, experiential engagement in science and technology museums, science communicationpractices for older adults, the development of competency models for primary school science teachers,and the integrated mechanism of exhibition, research, and education. This salon provided multi-dimensional insights to inform the innovative advancement of natural science museums. |
