| 随着城市发展更新的步伐加快,城市中逐渐出现一些闲置的老旧建筑。如何对老旧建筑进行合理利用和有效的保护,是一个新的课题。本文以功能萎缩后一度闲置的武汉客运港大楼改造为科技馆的实践为例,系统探讨其更新策略。本文首先回顾了武汉客运港大楼的历史,并对改造科技馆存在的优劣势进行了分析；进而对改造中的工程技术、方法措施、理念确立、展品设计进行了论述；最后总结了新馆建成后的成效。实践证明,为老旧建筑找准新的定位,赋予其新的内涵和功能,方能使其变废为宝,焕发新的活力。期待本案例能为国内利用老旧建筑改造科技馆的同行提供一点参考。 |

| With the acceleration of urban development and renewal, a growing number of old and vacant buildings have emerged in cities. The rational utilization and effective protection of these structures pose a significant challenge. This paper takes the transformation of the defunct Wuhan Passenger Port building into a science and technology museum as a case study to systematically explore its regeneration strategy. First, it reviews the history of the building and an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of its adaptive reuse as a museum. Then, it elaborates on the engineering techniques, implementation measures, conceptual orientation, and exhibit design employed in the conversion process. Finally, it summarizes the outcomes following the completion of the new museum. Practice has demonstrated that identifying a new positioning for old buildings and endowing them with fresh meaning and function can turn discarded structures into valuable assets, revitalizing them with new energy. thereby transforming obsolete facilities into valuable public assets. It is hoped that this paper can provide a reference for domestic projects that transform old buildings into science and technology museums. |
