| Digital technology and the digital economy have become the driving forces behind the latest wave of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. This digital wave presents fresh opportunities for the advancement of museums. This paper reviews the development of museum digitization, discusses the concept of digitization and the significance of digitization for the high-quality development of museums. By analyzing practical cases of digital cultural services provided by museums and technology companies both in China and abroad, it proposes concepts and recommendations for museum digitization for reference. The museum of the future will be a shared space. The integration of culture and technology will be further deepened and expanded, with digital capacity empowering museums toward high-quality development. |
